Today, I’m breaking how I draw the peonies you may have seen on my signs and in my bullet journal. Plus, I’m sharing alllllll the tricks I use to make them look more natural.

For wedding signage, I love adding florals to my work and I typically focus on drawing a big open peony and a smaller closed bud. I’m also including a FREE cheat sheet below that walks you through this process step-by-step!

During the tutorial, you’ll learn:

✔️How to draw open peonies and little peony buds
✔️An easy tip for drawing petals that don’t look too perfect
✔️How to embellish your peony to make it look more natural
✔️ Where to add contrast to make your flower pop
✔️AND SO MUCH MORE!

    Becca,
I have downloaded your free Florals Doodle Workbook, however it does not have a peony in it. I looked and looked and could not find any cheat sheet for drawing a Peony. Did I miss it or did I misunderstand? Thanks for your assistance. Sorry to have to email.

Wondering why you didn’t just use the Micron 0.5 pen to draw the peony first, rather than outline the Micro 0.3 pen after adding the veining.
