I’m talkin’ about the alphabet. Like the actual, individual letters.

I love studying letters, I love drawing letters, I love writing letters, and most of all I love teaching others to create beautiful letters, too.

Brush pens, nibs, paintbrushes, pencils, highlighters, ballpoint pens, gel pens, those-markers-you-stole-from-your-kids…. you name it.

SOME QUICK FACTS

My story

In 2015, I was bored in my corporate job and I needed a creative outlet, so I decided to take an evening “modern calligraphy” workshop.

I went home, practiced obsessively, and got pretty darn good at it. Then I opened an Instagram account, and started sharing my work with the public 😱.

I started growing a following of like-minded people who had a love for beautiful letters. And then people started asking me to teach them how to do calligraphy, too.

Spoiler alert:
I got coooooompletely obsessed.

And that’s when my life changed.

So I started teaching.

I started teaching workshops in person, and then I brought my courses online.

Since then, I’ve been able to quit that boring corporate job, and I can easily say I have the coolest job of anyone I know — teaching modern calligraphy.

And I also have the coolest students. Over 100,000 of them (a stat that still BLOWS MY MIND). I call them my VIPPs (very important pen pals), and I’ve even been able to travel around the world to meet them in 16 different countries.

It’s the coolest. For real.
