Calligraphy & Lettering

2021 is *finally* here, and it’s a great time to set up a bullet journal! I’ve been playing around with different layouts for years, and here I’m going to show you my favourite yearly layout.

In part 2 I’ll show you my monthly layout, and part 3 will have my weekly layout.

First Things First…

That being said, I will never suggest supplies that I do not personally use and fully recommend.

Tools Mentioned

Prefer watching over reading? Feel free to skip right to the video and see these in real-time! ??

Step 1: Sketch out a rough draft of your design

Step 2: Count out the dots/lines that you’ll need for each section

Now that I’ve done my sketch, I know I’m going to want 3 columns and a little header at the top.

Step 3: Divide your page into sections

Don’t forget about the headers, and use your highlighters to add colour to them. And remember, if you make a mistake in bullet journaling, white out is your best friend!

Step 4: Label your sections

I do the first letter of the week on each one.

Step 5: Add the months and a floral doodle

Step 6: Create a yearly log

At a glance, you can start filling in any appointments you know you may have.

And that’s a wrap!

As I mentioned, I am giving away this brand new Archer & Olive journal.
